I know it's been a long time since my last post here. But you can see by my flickr page at the right that I have accomplished something. I did get caught up and posted my Organic Backgrounds homework. I am not that thrilled with the project but am thrilled with the process, I just need to lose the heavy hand. I tend to get a little to dramatic with the color contrasts and that tends to take over my project. I have another one in the works and will post when that is finished. Cooking for Easter and just hanging out with the boys here. Blessings on your Easter.

I am loving the class but am behind. Need to catch up because tomorrow the next lesson comes out and I wanna be ready. Have a great Sunday.

These are the two newest scrapbook pages I have created. The first is the story of my son Ben and his engagement to Jessica. This is the first page of a wedding album I am making for her. The second is a page of a day at the beach with my son Chris and husband Gary. I learned to make some new flippy pages and they are so fun and make it so easy to add all those pictures you just can't bear to leave out of the layout. Thanks Debbie and Dana for the help. I really love it.

My newest fun thing is chip board albums. I just love them. I spent the evening making this one and I just can't leave it alone. I just want to touch it and look at it all the time. This one is my son and his sports loves. It is so fun to relive those exciting days and look forward to the new ones to come.

Today I scrapped at an all day crop. It was just the greatest. I made a chip board album of my son's sports happenings and made a small little book out of junk an a bet, started another chip board album spelling family and did 2 pages for my scrap book. I learned how to cover the chip board albums with my own paper designs, previously I had painted them and the like but today I covered with paper and distressed them. I also learned to make some little flippy things for my pages thanks to my great friend Debbie. We chatted and ate to much and just had a great girl day. All in all a pretty wonderful way to spend Saturday. I will post pictures of my accomplishments tomorrow. Good Night for now and May God Bless.

A week of work in my spare time, a little amending of the pattern and some embroidery and here it is. My first attempt at sewing a scrapbook item. Or scrapping on my stuff. It's been rumbling around in my brain for a while and now I can carry it with me. I love having my family with me all the time and this purse is great. I love it.
